We took Charlie to Walla Walla Dog Show. In addition to conformation, there were other events, such as rally and obedience competitions. Charlie was there to participate in lure coursing - a dog sport that involves dogs chasing a lure (a plastic bag) tied to
600 yards of a string in a loop across the ground. The string is driven by an electric motor that can move the line faster than the dogs can run. It taps on dogs' predatory drive, and most dogs have a blast chasing the lure.

Charlie started out great, chasing the lure as fast as he could, but halfway through the course, he noticed that he run too far away from his dad. He stopped, turned around, and came running back! He tried twice, and he failed both times. Well, looking on the bright side, he is a good dog that does not stray too far during an off-leash walk.
