First Vet Visit

Charlie had his first visit to the vet the other day and received a clean bill of health! I was concerned that he would be nervous during the visit, but he was very relaxed and calm. Since he's such a lazy little monkey, he decided to take a nap while the doctor stepped out for a few minutes.

Although he was deemed healthy, the vet mentioned Charlie had a slight yeast infection in his ears, which is not uncommon with Cocker Spaniels. The vet prescribed Charlie with some medicated ear solution and showed us how to apply it. We're supposed to clean his ears with the solution twice a day for a week. Since ear hygiene is very important with Cockers, after we're done with the medicated solution, we're going to use a homemade cleaning solution recommended by Sharon, our breeder. Charlie's ears are going to be cleaner than mine.
