Charlie spent the Thanksgiving weekend with us in Portland, Oregon. We stayed at the Hotel Monaco, a very dog-friendly hotel in downtown Portland. As a part of the "Unleashed Package", they provided a dog bed, a food and water bowl, a toy, and treats for Charlie. 
Portland is one of the most dog friendly cities in the US.... Most of the stores allowed us to bring Charlie in while we shopped, and if restaurants had outside patios, he was welcome.
